I asked my teacher in BeiJing if it works as a pick-up line but she said no cause SuHang is a place, and "you" (Ni3) isn't! :(
okay. I thought I was clever enough to understand this without having to ask for a translation, but now I'm just confused - what is SuHang, and what does it have to do with a pick-up line? can anybody help me?(bit of a shame it doesn't work though...)
I realised that there wouldn't be all that many readers of my blog who would understand...SuHang is just short for Suzhou and Hangzhou. A rough litteral translation is:Above has heaven, below has Suzhou and Hangzhou'A better translation was the heading of an email a while ago.
oh. See, that seems so obvious now... alas. If I only had a brain...
